Born in Dundee, Scotland, Chef Jackie's parents immigrated to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1971, where she lived and worked until moving to Germany in 1997.  Having traveled extensively throughout Europe and the British Isles, studying regional cuisines, and ingredients, while learning traditional techniques in old-world kitchens, she honed her culinary skills and knowledge.  While visiting many bakeries in her native Scotland, it seemed as though each establishment had its fair share of  bees buzzing around the pastry cases, and that became the inspiration for the "Wee Bee".  Upon returning to the United States in 2002, Wee Bee Fine Foods was established.  The business has steadily grown and Chef Jackie has a gained a reputation for exceptional products and personal service, whether as a caterer, private chef, or supplying desserts to local restaurants.
